Dia de Los Muertos, An Art Workshop
Learn about the Day of the Dead & create traditional arts and crafts.

This is an annual event contributing to our understanding of how the people of Mexico and Central America celebrate the memories of their ancestors through music, art and food.

Presented by Hospice Brazos Valley and The Frame Gallery- and it's free!
Please let us know you plan to come- we want to have enough art materials on hand.

Saturday, October 10, 10 -2pm. Free- just let us know that you are coming- we don't want to run out of sugar skulls or tissue paper!

Creative Layering – The Art of Collage Workshop

Instructor: Lisa Hughes

This workshop will explore new ideas and expand your knowledge of color and design. The techniques I will be teaching can apply to any medium you are currently using and enrich your work.

We will be working with a lot of materials you already have. Papers, fabrics, acrylics, magazines, printed text, tissue paper, matte medium, crayons, cray pas, and colored pencils are some of the materials we will experiment with.

You will take home endless ideas to express your creativity in new and exciting ways!

Class limited to 12 so enroll early. Supply list furnished at time of enrollment. A $50 deposit is required at time of registration.

Come prepared to have FUN!!!

Figure Drawing or Painting from the model
Work with a clothed live model. Use these sessions to hone your skills. This is not a class with an instructor, rather it is a chance for you to share in the cost of a model, learn from each other, and work in the medium of your choice in a creative environment.
Meets here at The Frame Gallery, 216 N. Bryan Ave., Downtown Bryan.
