Greta Watkins is a longtime resident of B/CS, having grown up in College Station. She has owned The Frame Gallery in historic downtown Bryan since 2001. Greta and Sarah, the official greeter and shop dog, really enjoy meeting and assisting customers with their framing projects .

In 2005, Greta instituted "First Fridays @ The Gallery" and helped organize "The Art Step", a semi annual art walk in historic downtown Bryan. Since then, the First Friday event has grown into a monthly event "First Fridays in Historic Downtown Bryan" that involves many of the downtown businesses as well as highlighting the art and culture available in the downtown area.

Also an artist, Greta has concentrated on painting, primarily oils, for the last several years, having previously spent 12 years or so working with handmade paper.
